GSA Journals’ News
GSA and GENETICS congratulate 2011 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine,
Bruce A. Beutler, who shares this award with Jules Hoffman and Ralph M. Steinman. Beutler,
author of four articles published in GENETICS, including one published in March 2011, is a practicing scientist, geneticist and one of your colleagues. Send
your best work to GENETICS.
The YeastBook series is beginning in the November issue of GENETICS. YeastBook is a comprehensive compendium of reviews that present the current state of knowledge of the
molecular biology, cellular biology, and genetics of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Edited by Alan G. Hinnebusch, along with a team of section editors, Yeastbook will include over 50 review articles written by the most prominent yeast geneticists of today. Read the first three articles online next month.
Submit your genetics and genomics manuscripts featuring
high-quality foundational research and experimental resources to G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics! G3 provides full access to research data as well as
article-level links to genes and other objects in model organism databases. Rapid peer review and fast time-to-publication ensure that manuscripts are handled quickly and fairly. Also be sure to
check out the latest issue.
